Soft191 Rest - It is sensible to take occasional breaks while using a computer for extended periods of time, in order to prevent eyestrain, stiff neck, headaches, back aches, and RSI. Sometimes you forget to rest because you are immersed in your work! Soft191 Rest can remind you to take such breaks. Simply specify the amount of time you want to work between breaks, the length of the breaks, and how you want to be notified when a break is due. The program resides the system tray, out of the way, and will remind you to take a break at the specified intervals by a popup message or window (and optional sound). So get up, walk around, relax, grab a drink or have a stretch before returning to your computer! You can be notified of a break either by a balloon tip appearing in the system tray area, or via a message window in the middle of the screen. If you don’t want to stop working immediately when a break reminder appears, you can disable or postpone the break a little longer. The system tray icon will display a countdown of the minutes left before a break is due. The background of the icon will be white, and turn yellow during a break and red during paused mode. During a break, the tray icon will display a countdown of the minutes remaining until the break is over. When breaks are over, the counter automatically starts again. The program's features can be accessed by right-clicking on system tray icon for a pop-up menu, or double left-clicking on the tray icon to display the options window. Lastly, if there is no user activity for "x" minutes you can have the program reset or pause the countdown.
